What "WhatsApp CRM Integration" Actually Means
Before the list: there is a meaningful difference between a CRM that claims WhatsApp integration and one that actually has it. Level 1 (click-to-chat link only) is not integration — it just opens WhatsApp in a new tab. Level 2 (manual message logging) is barely integration. Level 3 (full WhatsApp Business API embedded in the CRM, with bi-directional messaging, team inbox, and automatic conversation logging) is what you actually need. This list only includes tools with Level 2 or Level 3 integration and notes which type each offers.
1. Vedain — Native Level 3 WhatsApp Integration
Vedain is the only CRM on this list designed specifically for Indian and UAE markets with WhatsApp Business API as a first-class feature. Send and receive WhatsApp messages from inside the contact record, share approved templates, assign incoming WhatsApp messages to team members, and see the full conversation history alongside emails, calls, and notes in the timeline. Multiple agents can handle conversations from one WhatsApp Business number. Pricing is in INR (India) or AED (UAE) with local payment methods. Integration type: Level 3.
2. HubSpot (via WhatsApp integration add-on)
HubSpot added official WhatsApp Business Platform integration in 2023, but it requires the Service Hub Professional plan (₹4,500+/seat/month) and is primarily designed for customer support — not sales conversations. Outbound WhatsApp messaging for sales sequences is limited. Integration type: Level 2–3 for support teams, Level 1–2 for sales teams.
3. Zoho CRM (via WhatsApp for Business channel)
Zoho CRM supports WhatsApp through its SalesIQ and Cliq products, or via native WhatsApp channel in Zoho Desk. The CRM integration itself requires configuration through Zoho Flow. For teams that need WhatsApp in the sales CRM (not just support), the setup is non-trivial and requires Zoho SalesIQ or a third-party connector. Integration type: Level 2 (with significant configuration for Level 3).
4. Freshsales (via Freshdesk WhatsApp integration)
Freshworks offers WhatsApp integration through its Freshdesk support product, but Freshsales CRM requires a Freshdesk connection and additional configuration to surface WhatsApp conversations in the sales pipeline. Better for support teams than sales teams. Integration type: Level 2.
5. Wati — WhatsApp-First Platform
Wati is not a traditional CRM — it is a WhatsApp Business API platform with basic CRM functionality bolted on. It excels at WhatsApp broadcast campaigns, bulk messaging, and chatbot flows. If your primary use case is WhatsApp marketing rather than full sales pipeline management, Wati is worth evaluating. If you need deal tracking, email integration, invoicing, and a proper pipeline alongside WhatsApp, it will fall short. Integration type: Level 3 (WhatsApp native), CRM features Level 1.
6. Leadsquared — Good for High-Volume B2C with WhatsApp
Leadsquared is an Indian CRM focused on high-volume B2C sales in EdTech, Healthcare, and Financial Services. It has solid WhatsApp integration via its Marketing Automation product and good lead capture from Indian portals. The interface is complex for SMBs and pricing is designed for larger enterprises (50+ seats). Integration type: Level 3 for their target segment.
7. Pipedrive (via Twilio or 360dialog add-on)
Pipedrive has no native WhatsApp integration. You can connect it to WhatsApp via Zapier + Twilio or via 360dialog's Pipedrive connector, but this requires separate subscriptions and ongoing maintenance. The resulting integration is Level 2 at best. Integration type: Level 2 via third-party add-ons.
8. Salesforce (via WhatsApp for Service Cloud)
Salesforce offers WhatsApp integration through Service Cloud and Marketing Cloud — both enterprise products. The integration is genuinely powerful for large contact centres, but the price point (₹10,000–₹25,000+/user/month for relevant editions) and implementation complexity put it out of reach for most Indian SMBs. Integration type: Level 3 for enterprise, Level 1 for SMB-accessible editions.
9. Brevo (formerly Sendinblue) — Marketing-Focused WhatsApp
Brevo added WhatsApp campaign capability in 2023, allowing bulk WhatsApp template messages to be sent from its platform. This is a marketing tool rather than a sales CRM — it does not have deal tracking, pipeline management, or two-way conversation handling. Integration type: Level 1–2 for marketing broadcasts.
10. 360dialog + Any CRM via Webhook
360dialog is a WhatsApp Business API BSP (Business Solution Provider) that allows developers to connect WhatsApp to any CRM via webhook. If you have a developer on your team and your preferred CRM is not on this list, 360dialog provides the API access and you build the integration yourself. This is the most flexible approach but requires ongoing technical maintenance. Integration type: Level 3 if built correctly.
Our Recommendation
For Indian and UAE sales teams that want native WhatsApp Business API integration in a full-featured CRM with INR/AED pricing, Vedain is the strongest option. For enterprise teams with Salesforce or HubSpot already deployed, their WhatsApp add-ons work but require significant configuration and add-on spend. For marketing-focused WhatsApp use cases (bulk campaigns), Wati or Brevo are more purpose-built than a general CRM.
