Extension Privacy Policy

This Extension Privacy Policy applies to the Vedain CRM browser extension ("Extension") published by Olibr Resourcing Pvt. Ltd., operating as Vedain CRM ("Vedain", "we", "us", or "our"). It supplements our main Privacy Policy and describes specifically how the Extension collects and uses data.

By installing or using the Extension, you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please uninstall the Extension.

The Extension collects only the data necessary to provide its features:

• LinkedIn profile data — name, job title, company, email address (if publicly visible), LinkedIn profile URL, and profile photo URL — read from LinkedIn pages you actively visit, only when you trigger the "Save to CRM" action.
• Active tab URL — the URL of the current tab, used solely to detect whether you are on a supported page (e.g., a LinkedIn profile) and to pre-fill the save form.
• Authentication token — your Vedain CRM session token, stored in the browser's local storage, used to authenticate API requests to your Vedain account.

The Extension does not collect browsing history, keystrokes, clipboard contents, cookies, or any data from pages other than the LinkedIn profile you choose to save.

We do not request any permissions beyond those listed above. Any future permission additions will be disclosed in an updated version of this policy.

Data collected by the Extension is used exclusively to:

• Create or update lead/contact records in your Vedain CRM account when you trigger the save action.
• Authenticate your identity with the Vedain API to ensure data goes to the correct account.
• Pre-fill the save form to reduce manual data entry.

We do not use Extension data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to the CRM save action you initiate.

Profile data captured by the Extension is transmitted over HTTPS directly to the Vedain API and stored in your company's CRM database on MongoDB Atlas (AWS Mumbai region). It is not cached locally beyond the current browser session.

Your authentication token is stored in Chrome's chrome.storage.local, which is sandboxed to the Extension and inaccessible to web pages. We apply industry-standard encryption at rest and in transit.

We do not sell, rent, or share data collected by the Extension with third parties, except:

• Infrastructure providers — MongoDB Atlas (database hosting) and AWS (cloud infrastructure), both bound by data processing agreements.
• Legal requirements — if required by applicable law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of Vedain or its users.

Data saved to your CRM via the Extension is retained for as long as your Vedain account is active, or as required by applicable law. You may delete individual records at any time from within the CRM. On account cancellation, your data is deleted within 30 days per our standard Privacy Policy.

Your authentication token is removed from local storage when you sign out of the Extension or uninstall it.

You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete data saved to your Vedain CRM account. You can exercise these rights directly within the CRM (Settings → Data Management) or by contacting us at the address below.

You may uninstall the Extension at any time from your browser's extension manager. Uninstalling the Extension does not delete data already saved to your CRM.

We may update this Extension Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, for material changes, notify users via the Extension's update notes or by email.
