Getting Started Faster with the Guided Setup Assistant

Launching the assistant

• •Brand-new companies see the assistant automatically on first login.
• •You can reopen it any time from Settings → Setup Assistant or the setup checklist.
• •Each step can be completed or skipped — nothing blocks you from exploring the app.

Step: What will you use Vedain for?

Pick your purposes — sales pipeline, support, marketing, HR and more. Your choices tailor the rest of the setup and highlight the modules that matter to you.

Step: Finalise your fields with live preview

For Leads, Contacts and Accounts, toggle exactly which fields your team should see and which are required. The live form preview on the right updates as you click, so you see the exact form your team will use. Add custom fields on the spot — no separate settings hunt.

Step: Connect your email

Connect Microsoft 365 or Google in a couple of clicks. Once connected, email sending, tracking, sequences and the shared inbox all light up across the CRM.

Step: Invite your team

• •Invite teammates by email and pick their role — including custom roles with fine-grained module permissions.
• •Assign a team lead where you need one.
• •Invitees get an email and land in a workspace that's already configured.

Step: Organisation settings and extras

• •Set your timezone and currency so dates, reports and deal values are right from day one.
• •Install the Chrome extension to capture leads from LinkedIn.
• •Review the finish screen for anything you skipped — each item deep-links to the right settings page.

Tips for a clean start

• •Do the field-finalisation step before importing data — imports map cleanly onto the fields you actually use.
• •Invite at least one teammate early; CRMs stick when the whole team works in them.
• •Skipped steps stay visible in the setup checklist until they're done.
