Connecting Stripe
- Go to Settings → Payments.
- Select Stripe.
- Enter your Stripe Publishable Key and Secret Key (from your Stripe Dashboard → Developers → API Keys).
- Click Save.
- Click Test Connection to verify.
Connecting Razorpay (India)
- Go to Settings → Payments.
- Select Razorpay.
- Enter your Key ID and Key Secret (from Razorpay Dashboard → Settings → API Keys).
- Click Save.
- Click Test Connection.
How It Works for Clients
- You send an invoice from Vedain.
- The client receives an email with the invoice PDF attached and a Pay Now button.
- Clicking Pay Now opens a hosted payment page.
- The client enters their payment details (card, UPI, bank transfer — depending on gateway).
- Payment is confirmed.
- The invoice status in Vedain automatically updates to Paid.
- You receive a notification.

Which payment gateways does Vedain support?
Vedain supports Stripe (global — cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay), Razorpay (India — cards, UPI, netbanking, wallets), and PayPal. Connect whichever is most convenient for your clients.
Does Vedain charge transaction fees on top of Stripe/Razorpay fees?
Vedain does not add any additional transaction fees. You only pay the standard Stripe or Razorpay fees (typically 2-3% per transaction). Check their pricing pages for current rates.
