What You Need Before Starting

Step-by-Step: Connecting Gmail
- In Vedain, go to Settings → Email.
- Click Connect Email Account.
- Select Gmail / Google Workspace.
- A Google sign-in popup appears. Select the Google account you want to connect.
- Review the permissions Vedain requests (send email on your behalf, read sent mail for tracking).
- Click Allow.
- You are redirected back to Vedain. Your Gmail account now appears in the connected accounts list with a green Connected badge.
- Click Send Test Email to verify everything is working.
Setting This Account as Your Default Sender
If you have multiple email accounts connected, you can set one as the default for outgoing emails and campaigns. On the Email settings page, click the star icon next to the account you want as default.
Troubleshooting
- •OAuth popup blocked: Allow popups for vedain.com in your browser settings and try again.
- •Account not showing after connection: Refresh the Settings → Email page.
- •'Access denied' error: Your Google Workspace admin may have restricted third-party app access. Ask them to allow Vedain in Google Admin Console → Security → API Controls.
- •Emails not sending: Check that your Gmail account hasn't exceeded its daily sending limit (500 emails/day for free Gmail, 2,000 for Google Workspace).
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I connect multiple Gmail accounts?
Yes. You can connect as many Gmail accounts as you have. Each team member can connect their own Gmail account. Go to Settings → Email → Connect Email Account for each one.
Does Vedain read my existing emails in Gmail?
No. Vedain only sends emails on your behalf and records replies when someone responds to an email sent from Vedain. It does not read or sync your existing Gmail inbox.
Will my recipients see that the email was sent via Vedain?
No. The email appears to come directly from your Gmail address. Recipients see your name and email address, not any Vedain branding.
Does connecting Gmail affect my Gmail storage or quota?
Emails sent via Vedain count toward your Gmail daily sending limit (500/day for free Gmail, 2,000/day for Google Workspace) but do not affect your storage quota.
