How to Create Email Templates for Campaigns in Vedain CRM

Creating a New Email Template

1. Go to Settings → Email Templates.
2. Click + New Template.
3. Enter a Template Name (internal — helps you find it later).
4. Build your email in the Quill rich text editor.
5. Click Save Template.

Using the Quill Editor

The Quill editor works like a word processor. Key formatting tools:

• •Font Family — Arial, Georgia, Verdana, Tahoma, Courier New, Times New Roman, Trebuchet MS.
• •Font Size — 10px through 32px.
• •Bold, Italic, Underline, Strikethrough
• •Text colour and background colour
• •Ordered and unordered lists
• •Insert link — select text, click the link icon, enter the URL.
• •Insert image — insert by URL (not file upload).
• •Blockquote — for pulling out key quotes.

Adding Merge Tags (Personalisation)

Merge tags insert the recipient's data into the email automatically. Click the Merge Tags button in the editor toolbar (or type {{ to trigger autocomplete) and select from:

• •{{firstName}} — Recipient's first name
• •{{lastName}} — Last name
• •{{fullName}} — Full name
• •{{email}} — Their email address
• •{{company}} — Company name
• •{{phone}} — Phone number
• •{{jobTitle}} — Job title
• •{{unsubscribeLink}} — Renders as 'Unsubscribe' link (required for compliance)

Importing Templates from Mailchimp or Brevo

If you have existing templates in Mailchimp or Brevo, import them: Settings → Email Templates → Import → select source → follow the connection steps. Templates import as HTML and can be edited in Vedain.

Preview Before Using

Use the Preview button to see how your template looks with sample data filling the merge tags. Check both desktop and mobile views.
