Step 1: Connect Your Google Account
- Go to Settings → Integrations (or Settings → Email for Google Workspace).
- If Google is not yet connected, the export flow will prompt you to sign in with Google and grant Sheets access.
- This is a one-time step — future exports go directly to Sheets without re-authenticating.
Step 2: Export a Report
- Go to Reports → open any report.
- Apply your desired date range and filters.
- Click Export → select Google Sheets.
- Choose a destination:
- • Create new spreadsheet — Vedain creates a new Google Sheet with the report data.
- • Add to existing spreadsheet — select an existing Sheet and which tab to write to.
- Click Export. The Sheet opens in a new browser tab.
Refreshing the Data (Re-Exporting)
Google Sheets exports are a one-time snapshot — the sheet does not auto-update as your CRM data changes. To refresh: repeat the export to the same Sheet (select the existing spreadsheet and the same tab). The data is overwritten with fresh data.
Exporting Multiple Reports to One Spreadsheet
Export each report to a different tab in the same Google Sheet. For example: export 'Lead Volume by Source' to Tab 1, 'Deal Revenue by Month' to Tab 2, 'Team Activity Leaderboard' to Tab 3. This creates a multi-page CRM dashboard in Google Sheets.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does the Google Sheet update automatically when CRM data changes?
No. Exports are one-time snapshots. To get updated data, re-run the export. The new data overwrites the previous export in the same tab.
Do Google Sheets exports include custom fields?
Yes. All custom fields with data are included as additional columns in the exported data.
Can I export multiple reports to one spreadsheet with different tabs?
