Using the Search Bar
The search bar at the top of the Leads list searches across: First Name, Last Name, Email, Phone, and Company. Type any part of a name, email, or company name and Vedain filters the list in real time.
Using the Filter Panel
- Click the Filter button (funnel icon) on the Leads list page.
- The filter panel slides open on the right.
- Select one or more filters from the available options.
Available Filter Options
- •Lead Status — filter by one or more statuses (e.g., show only Qualified + Proposal Sent leads).
- •Lead Source — filter by how the lead was acquired.
- •Owner — filter by assigned team member (great for managers reviewing a specific rep's pipeline).
- •Date Added — filter by when the lead was created (today, this week, this month, custom range).
- •Date Updated — filter by when any field was last changed.
- •Industry — filter by industry.
- •Rating — Hot, Warm, or Cold.
- •Lead Score — filter by score range.
- •Custom Fields — any custom field you have created appears here for filtering.
Combining Multiple Filters
All active filters work together with AND logic: a lead must match ALL selected filters to appear. For example: Status = Qualified AND Owner = Alice AND Date Added = This Month shows only Alice's qualified leads added this month.
Saving a Filter as a Preset
- Apply your filters.
- Click Save Filter (or the bookmark icon).
- Give the preset a name (e.g., 'Alice's Qualified Leads This Month').
- Click Save.
- The preset appears in the Saved Filters dropdown at the top of the filter panel.
- Click a saved filter to apply it instantly.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I share saved filters with my team?
Currently saved filters are personal — each user has their own saved filter presets. Filters are not shared across team members.
How do I reset all active filters?
Click the X or 'Clear All' button at the top of the filter panel to remove all active filters and see the full lead list.
Can I filter leads by custom field values?
Yes. All custom fields appear in the filter panel. Dropdown custom fields let you filter by specific values; text fields offer a contains search; date fields let you filter by date range.
Can I filter leads that have no owner (unassigned)?
Yes. In the Owner filter, select 'Unassigned' to see leads with no owner assigned. This is useful for admins to ensure all leads are covered.
