AI Enrichment and Inbox Intelligence: What They Do and What They Cost

Vedain CRM·10-Oct-2026·6 min read

Data Health’s AI tools fill in details the free rules can’t: company facts from websites, seniority from job titles, and updates hidden in email replies. Company profile and Job-title intelligence share a one-time free allowance and then a simple flat price per run; Inbox intelligence is charged only for records it updates. You always see the price before anything runs.

How AI enrichment and Inbox intelligence work

The free clean-up rules fix formatting. The AI tools add new information. They work the same way:

  • •A one-time free allowance. Company profile and Job-title intelligence share a free allowance once per account (500 records by default). A run that fits inside the remaining allowance is free.
  • •One flat price per run. A run larger than your free allowance costs a single flat fee based on how many records it fills — not per field. Inbox intelligence is different: it is charged per record it actually updates.
  • •Estimate first. You always see how many records would be filled and the exact price — Free or a flat amount — before you confirm.
  • •Only blank fields are filled. Existing values are never overwritten, and every run can be undone from History. Undo restores the values; a run’s wallet charge is not refunded (see Undoing Data Health changes).
  • •Paid from your Vedain wallet, not your subscription.

These tools use Vedain’s platform AI. You can’t connect your own AI key for them.

What AI enrichment costs

AI enrichment (Company profile and Job-title intelligence) is priced as one flat fee per run, based on how many records the run fills — not per field. Every company also gets a one-time free allowance, so your first runs can cost nothing.

  • •Free allowance. The first 500 records you ever enrich are free — once per account (your administrator can change this). Once it is used up, every run is paid.
  • •Larger runs are charged one flat ‘pack’ price based on the number of records enriched in that run — see the table below.
  • •Counted once. A run is counted by distinct records, so a record that gets both a company profile and a job-title is counted a single time.
  • •Free first. A run that fits your remaining free allowance is free and uses the allowance; a bigger run is a flat fee and leaves your free allowance untouched.
Records enriched in a runINRUSDAED
First 500 (one-time)FreeFreeFree
Up to 2,000₹499$14.90AED 25
Up to 5,000₹999$29.90AED 50
Up to 10,000₹1,699$49.90AED 100
Each additional 5,000+₹750+$20+AED 50

Prices are shown in your wallet’s currency, set by your company’s country, and the Pricing card on the AI enrichment page always shows the exact tiers for you. Your administrator can adjust the free allowance and the prices. Inbox intelligence is separate and is charged per record it updates (₹1.50 / $0.02 / AED 0.07) — see below.

AI enrichment: Company profile

Company profile reads each company’s website and fills Industry, Company size, HQ country and a one-line description, plus Company when it’s blank. Only blank fields are filled. It works on Leads, Contacts and Accounts.

The estimate shows how many records could be updated and how many distinct companies that covers, for example “900 records could be updated (310 companies)”.

AI enrichment: Job-title intelligence

Job-title intelligence adds Seniority (for example Director or C-Suite) and Job function (for example Sales or Engineering) based on each person’s job title. The title itself isn’t changed. It’s available on Leads and Contacts. Accounts don’t have job titles, so the option isn’t shown there.

Seniority and function make audiences easy to build, such as “all Directors and above in Finance”, even when titles are written a hundred different ways.

Run AI enrichment

  1. Go to Data Health and open the AI enrichment tab, then pick Leads, Contacts or Accounts.
  2. Tick Company profile, Job-title intelligence or both. Each card shows how many records it would fill and an example of what the AI adds.
  3. The This run panel shows how many records will be enriched and the price — Free if it fits your remaining free allowance, otherwise the flat pack price. The Pricing card lists every tier.
  4. Click Enrich for free (or Enrich for ₹…) and confirm.
  5. The run happens in the background.

When it finishes, a message such as “Enriched 206 records” confirms the result and shows the amount charged (or that it was free). If it stopped early (for example, a brief AI outage), the message says so.

Inbox intelligence

Your leads and contacts often tell you things in their replies: a new direct line in a signature, a new title, “I’ve moved on from Acme”, or “please contact my colleague Rahul instead”. Inbox intelligence reads the replies your team has already received from your leads and contacts over the last 18 months and turns them into CRM updates. Only the newest part of each reply is read.

  • •Signature details fill blank job titles, phones, LinkedIn and company on the sender’s own record.
  • •People who have left are flagged. A claim that someone left their company goes to a review list, so nobody is marked as left without your confirmation.
  • •Referrals and replacements (“please contact my colleague X”) become one-click lead suggestions.

Each value the AI extracts is checked against the email text before it is saved.

Step 1: Scan your inbox (free)

  1. In Data Health, open the Inbox intelligence tab. You need view access to both Leads and Contacts to see it.
  2. Click Scan inbox. The scan is free and read-only.
  3. Review the counts: records with something to add, possible job changes, replies naming other people, signatures with a phone, and replies with a LinkedIn link. What was found (examples) shows sample replies.

Step 2: Read the replies with AI (paid)

  1. In the Read the replies with AI panel, check the maximum, for example “Up to 58 records · at most INR 87.00”.
  2. Optional: set a Spending cap.
  3. Click Update records from replies, then Yes, run.
  4. When it finishes you see how many records were updated, job changes, new people found, items to review, and the charge.

Step 3: Review People found in replies

The People found in replies list shows each suggestion with the reply it came from and a quote as evidence:

LabelMeaningButton
Took over the roleSomeone replaced your contact.Add as lead
Colleague named in replyYour contact pointed you to a colleague.Add as lead
New address for same personThe same person wrote from a new email address.Add as lead
Said to have left — confirmA reply says this person has left their company.Mark as left

Add as lead creates a lead owned by you. If the person is already a lead, you’ll see “Already a lead”. Mark as left updates the record only after you confirm. Dismiss removes a suggestion you don’t want. Reviewing suggestions costs nothing.

Top up your wallet

Every paid panel shows your balance with a Wallet balance · Top up link. It opens Billing → Credits. Data Health and Email Verification use the same enrichment wallet, shown there as ContactOut enrichment. Pick a preset amount or type your own (a minimum applies), then pay. Credit purchases are billed separately from your plan and get their own receipt.

If your wallet is empty, the run buttons are disabled and the page shows “Your wallet is empty — top up to run AI enrichment.”

Permissions

Running AI enrichment needs edit access to Data Health and the module being enriched. Inbox intelligence runs, adding suggested leads and marking people as left need edit access to Data Health, Leads and Contacts.
